architects designhaus
Architects Designhaus is a contemporary
architectural practice created by its Directors
Richard
Crawford, Andrew
Shurman and John
Padas to promote a ‘studio ethic’
in design, with a high standard of commitment
to clients and strong technical bias towards the
construction industry.
This ethic continues the practice
of architecture which has lasted 150
years since the establishment of the practice
by Henry Hunter, but permits all offices to develop
their own design focus in a collaborative studio
atmosphere.
The diversity of projects undertaken
by Architects Designhaus varies from the small,
boutique domestic scale project, to large developments
and everything in between. Such diversity maintains
our interest within all fields of design and construction,
ensures technical relevance and helps the studio
atmosphere maintain a high level of energy and
design excellence. We celebrate the joy of creating
and chaperone our clients through the process
in order to achieve a high level of satisfaction.
Our practice is at the forefront
of 3D conceptualisation and invites critical analysis
of all designs with our clients. Our staff, as
our major asset, are chosen because they adopt
an exemplary approach to architectural endeavour,
and provide us with their commitment and their
loyalty. Their contribution to our ongoing success
is acknowledged through involvement in all aspects
of the practice.
